Fashion District Resident

My name is Jeremy Dawson, I am a grammy nominated artist, composer, and producer who lives and occasionally works in the fashion district. I have never been more fascinated with a city than I am with Central City. My goal on this council is to do everything I can to facilitate and protect the beautiful history and culture that DTLA has had for 100 years now; amidst growth and progress that changes our neighborhood every day.

I have been a resident of Downtown LA and specifically the Fashion District for the last 6 years. I have been lucky to have been able to serve on the Fashion BID board for the last 5 years in which i have held the positions of Operations committee member, Finance committee member and Treasurer. My family and I love the unique beat and diversity that makes downtown LA unique. As an activist, I am especially attuned to the unique requirements of re-birthing DTLA as the vibrant hub it used to be.
